A low-carbon technology biofilter media (LCT-Biomatrix) of composite carbon polymer properties and new design features to :
(1)concentrate soluble organics especially those with low-molecular weight compounds into its body.
(2)remove slowly biodegradable organics and also treat high-strength organics.
(3)Its effluent can meet stringent water quality standard for discharge and reuse. It removes higher percentage of soluble organics than bio treatment alone.
